Prime Video recently announced the premiere of the latest Amazon Original series, Cinema Marte Dum Tak, with the launch of its trailer. Taking viewers a few decades back, the trailer gives a glimpse into one of the most defining film genres of the country – Pulp Cinema. Created by filmmaker Vasan Bala (Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota & Monica O My Darling) and in association with Vice Studios Production, the six-episode docu-series will delve into the ecosystem of Pulp Cinema industry of the country and share fascinating insights.
Cinema Marte Dum Tak will dive behind the scenes with four notable directors of that era – J Neelam, Vinod Talwar, Dilip Gulati and Kishan Shah. The docu-series also features actors such as Raza Murad, Mukesh Rishi, Harish Patel, and Rakhi Sawant amongst others. Actor Arjun Kapoor will also make an appearance.
