Ayushmann Khurrana, who has over time become the poster boy of social issue films that became commercially successful, is now taking an unfamiliar path in his career, with his next ‘An Action Hero’.
The trailer conveys that Ayushmann Khurrana portrays as the reel-life action hero. A celebrity with glitz and glamor, but secrets behind those shades. It seems to be a thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Seems like the film has subscribed to the unreliable narrator trope. Wonder if Ayushmann’s character is the archer or the prey.
It seems to be the perfect Bollywood commercial film hot pocket, with thrill, drama, action, and an item number. It has been really long since Bollywood last witnessed that. And we’re surprised that out of everyone, it’s Ayushmann Khurrana who’s delivering this.
Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat as the lead characters at each other’s throats, the film has sparked a buzz and excitement around it. The rest of the trailer showcased the cat-and-mouse chase between Ayushmann and Jaideep Ahlawat.
Fans are especially excited to see Ayushamann in a fresh and fantastically fictional role. There’s also a glimpse of Malaika Arora seen in her song cameo element, which has further propelled her in the recent entertainment goss. Anirudh Iyer is making a directorial debut with this film. ‘The Action Hero’ is jointly produced by Bhusan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Anand L. Rai. The film will be released in theatres on December 2, 2022.
