Satish Kaushik passed away in March in 2023 in a sudden cardiac arrest. On his first birth anniversary, his close and dear friend Anil Kapoor shared a video montage and tribute to the late actor.
Sharing the montage the actor penned, “While I sit here trying to find the right words or just any words really to express what I feel right now…I want to fill books telling you what you mean to me but I know you already knew that…in the 3 mins of this video, I relived so many of our memories. I wish we had more time…I wish I could call you and tell you just one more time how lucky I am to have you in my life….I miss you beyond words Satish…I pray that everyone has a friend like you in their life because you were a true blessing…Happy Birthday my friend…”
Anil Kapoor had worked in many films with the late actor. The actor also included some of Satish Kaushik famous lines and scenes from their films HamaraDilAapkePaas Hai, GharwaliBaharwali and many more. He also shared clips from Satish Kaushik starrer Deewana Mastana.
Soon after the post caught attention, fans showered love and flooded the comment section with love. Gajraj Rao replied, “Beautiful tribute Sir.” One fan commented, “When a friend leaves he takes a big part of life with them and the one left behind stays with the remaining parts. That last dialogue by Satish Ji gives goosebumps.”
Previously, Anupam Kher posted a heartfelt note in which he mentioned that he will celebrate Satish Kaushik birthday with love and laughter.
The late actor was best known for his popular roles such as Mr. India, Mr and Mrs Khiladi. Satish Kaushik recently filmed for Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming film Emergency.
