After an impressing performance in ‘Farzi’ Shahid Kapoor is once again entertain to his fans with his next ‘Bloody Daddy’. The official teaser of this film is finally unveiled. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the action thriller sees Shahid in a rugged avatar. The teaser also gives a glimpse of Sanjay Kapoor and Diana Penty.
In the teaser we have seen in a black suit Shahid Kapoor entering a shadowy and mysterious hallway of a hotel, and then attacking goons with a knife. Shahid’s character reveals that he has to take revenge for a personal reason. Taking to his Instagram Shahid shared the teaser and wrote, “Get ready for a BLOODY good time at the movies. #BloodyDaddy June 9, 2023 on @officialjiocinema.”
The teaser garnered a lot of praised on social media. One commented, “Desi John Wick,” while another shares, “John wick vibes.” Another one wrote, John wick in 144pb.”
Talking about the film, Shahid had told PTI, “It was a lot of fun. I had a great time doing an action film, I really enjoyed working with Ali. He understands the genre very well. The dilemma now is that if you’re doing something of this scale, on OTT, what do you do on the big screen? So we have to figure that out, it has been a blast.”
On Wednesday taking to his Instagram handle, the actor share the first look from the film. The poster speaks to a lot Shahid’s new avatar. In a close-up shot, the actor has blood stains on his white collar and an injury mark on his nose. Revealing the first look Shahid captioned “Teaser dropping BLOODY soon.”
‘Bloody Daddy’ also features Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, Diana Penty in the pivotal role.
As soon as the poster shared, likes and comments poured in from all sides in social media. Everyone reacted to the poster with fire emoticons.
Actor Ronit Roy also took to Twitter to share the poster and wrote: “I was excited while I was shooting for this now even more excited for you guys to view it. The action thriller ‘Bloody Daddy’ is the official adaptation of the 2011 French film Nuit Blanche. And this the first association between actor Shahid Kapoor and director Ali Abbas Zafar. The film is all set to direct digital release on Jio Cinemas from June 9.
On the professional front, Shahid was last seen in Raj and DK’s the thriller web series Farzi. This crime thriller marked the digital debut of Shahid Kapoor which streamed successfully on Prime Video.
