A day following the revelation of Hrithik Roshan’s character “Patty,” the creators of “Fighter” have now unveiled Deepika Padukone’s character. On Tuesday, the actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a sneak peek of her character, which goes by the name Squadron Leader Minal Rathore, aka Minni. In this new portrayal, Deepika showcased her fierce side, dressed in a military uniform and donning round sunglasses in the latest poster.
In the caption, she wrote, “Squadron Leader Minal Rathore. Call Sign: Minni. Designation: Squadron Pilot. Unit: Air Dragons.” The post quickly garnered attention, with fans expressing their excitement over Deepika’s new look. Actor Saiyami Kher responded with fire emoticons, while one fan exclaimed, “The Queen is back with a bang.” Another commented, “After Aishwarya Rathore, now it’s time for Minal Rathore to set the screen on fire.”
On Monday, Hrithik Roshan shared a new poster featuring himself, presenting his character Patty, aka Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania. In the caption, he wrote, “Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, Call Sign: Patty. Designation: Squadron Pilot, Unit: Air Dragons. Fighter Forever.”
Originally scheduled for a theatrical release in September 2022, the film faced pre-production delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, the movie is set to hit screens on the eve of Republic Day, on January 25, 2024.
