Anamika Khanna opens grand FDCI X Lakme Fashion Week

FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week, the most prestigious 5-day fashion extravaganza is back in Mumbai with their on-ground event. Ace designer Anamika Khanna opened the FDCI X Lakmé Fashion Week on Tuesday, 11 October. Veteran designer showcased menswear with her pret line AK-OK. AK-OK’s inspiring new drop showcased white cottons, prints in silk, and handmade shiboris, with the peeping-in of denims occasionally. The latest collection to stay true to the label’s DNA with a melange of abstract prints, embroideries and silhouettes that are a foray into wilder prints, with a fresh 3D definition.

Anamika Khanna stated that, “My AK-OK story began at home and went on to travel the whimsical, yet relaxed road, making every journey its own. Be it a draped dress, pyjama set, jacket, or the quintessentially timeless white kurta, this collection is a colour-infused version of my personal style, with the diversity of apparel being created to find its essence with the wearer as they see fit.”
