When Amrita confronts Gursevak
Gursevak protected his daughter from the harsh truth about his past for many years, but eventually, Amrita Singh got a hint about what may have happened in the 1980s when an investigation was opened. An emotional scene ensues between the duo as she confronts her father about it. Gursevak refuses to give his daughter any information. He tells her some questions don’t have answers and to never ask him again.
When Amrita rescues her father
In an attempt to turn his past into ashes, Gursevak ends up burning his house down. Caught inside the fire, his daughter Amrita arrived in the nick of time to rescue him. In this heart-rending scene, Gursevak tells his daughter that he had left the memories of Bokaro behind and did not ever want to revisit them.
When Gursevak sings his daughter to sleep
Against her father’s wishes, IPS Officer Amrita Singh travels to Bokaro to find out the truth about Gursevak and what happened in the 1980s. She is saddened because her father wouldn’t come clean, yet she seeks his comfort in the difficult situation that she finds herself in. In a touching moment of the series, Amrita calls Gursevak from Bokaro, and her father sings his daughter to sleep.
When Gursevak confesses
After refusing to reveal the truth about what happened, Gursevak finally comes clean to his daughter about the past. In this moving scene of the series, the father praises his daughter for choosing the difficult path and going after the truth, and tells her he is also going to do what he feels is right.
The tear-jerking climax
A scene that will surely leave you teary-eyed is when the truth is unveiled in court, and Amrita finally discovers what happened three decades ago. Overwhelmed by emotions, she goes and embraces her father Gursevak as he is being taken away by the police. Certainly, a scene to remember!
