Vyjayanthi Movies, the production banner, revealed the revised release date for this ambitious multilingual big-budget film on its social media platforms. Accompanying the announcement is a striking new poster showcasing Prabhas. The Instagram post from the studio declares, “The story that concluded 6000 years ago. Resumes on May 9th, 2024. The future unfolds. #Kalki2898AD.” With stellar cast members including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani, the movie, initially slated for release on January 12, will now hit theaters on the newly confirmed date.
Prabhas took to social media to unveil the poster, expressing anticipation in the caption, “The countdown to the future has begun! #Kalki2898AD in theatres worldwide on 9th May 2024.” Amitabh Bachchan also shared the film’s poster with the updated release date on his Instagram. This magnum opus, initially approved as Project K in 2020, is poised to transport audiences to an unprecedented cinematic experience, as promised by the makers.
