The much-awaited Telugu romantic drama “Kushi,” starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has finally received its release date. In a tweet, both actors revealed that the film, helmed by director Shiva Nirvana, is set to hit theaters on September 1, 2023..
Posting the first look poster, Vijay captioned, “#Kushi along with red heart emoji Sept 1st. With full love, @Samanthaprabhu2 @ShivaNirvana @MythriOfficial @HeshamAWMusic & your man.”
On the other hand, Samantha, sharing the poster, wrote, “Whole heart with white heart emoji.”
The latest poster of the film “Kushi” features Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda, who come from different worlds, paired up for the second time after their appearance in “Mahanati.”
Following the unveiling of the film’s title and first-look poster in May 2022, the shooting of “Kushi” came to a halt after completing the first schedule in Kashmir, as Samantha was suffering from a case of Myositis. The production had to be put on hold for several months until Samantha was able to provide fresh dates. Samantha recently apologized to Vijay Deverakonda’s fans on her social media handle and confirmed that the shooting will resume soon.
Social media has been buzzing with a few leaked clicks from the sets of “Kushi” lately, where Samantha was welcomed back with a cake. Director Shiva Nirvana praised Samantha’s resilience and called her a “fighter” as she returned to the sets.
Samantha’s last appearance was in the Telugu action-thriller “Yashoda.”
