The latest song from Aasmaan Bharadwaj helmed Kuttey – “Vaat Lagli” is out now. The song, performed by Avadhoot Gupte with words from Gulzar and composed by Vishal Bhardwaj spells dark humour and chaos.
At the starting point of the video, a nervous Arjun is brought to a calm and cool Naseeruddin Shah, who gives him a choice of beverage. The video shows Arjun shooting down people, while Tabu sits and observes people getting tortured in the police station . Laced with mayhem and madness, the music video focuses on the peculiar personality of each character. Combined with the songs quirky texture, it makes for an eccentric tune.
Kuttey stars Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Konkona Sen Sharma, Radhika Madan, Naseeruddin Shah, Kumud Mishra and Shardul Bhardwaj. Directed by Aasmaan Bhardwaj and produced by Vishal Bhardwaj Films, T-Series Films and Luv Films, it marks the directorial debut of Vishal Bhardwaj’s son.
Kuttey is set to release in theatres on January 13, 2023.
