Opening with Glen Powell’s character, Gary Johnson, unexpectedly falling for a woman portrayed by Adria Arjona, the two-minute and thirty-three-second trailer for Richard Linklater’s Hit Man takes viewers on a wild ride. Delving deeper into Johnson’s double life, the video unveils his role as a mild-mannered professor who leads a covert operation as a faux hitman for the local police department.

Derived from a magazine article sharing its title, Hit Man is scheduled for a limited theatrical release commencing May 24, followed by its Netflix debut on June 7.
