Actor Mrunal Thakur recently delved into the intricacies of balancing her professional commitments and personal life, shedding light on her decision to freeze her eggs and other aspects. Speaking candidly with Humans of Bombay, Mrunal emphasized the importance of communication, expressing her preference to ‘talk it out’ during challenging times.
In a recent interview, the actor emphasized the significance of maintaining equilibrium between her personal life and career. “Finding that balance is crucial, though it’s a constant journey of adjustment,” she explained. Reflecting on the challenges of relationships, she highlighted the importance of finding a partner who comprehends the demands of her profession. When prompted about actor Mona Singh’s decision to freeze her eggs, she revealed that she, too, is contemplating the option.
Mrunal opened up about the challenges of dragging herself out of bed on tough days, even when she had to portray cheerful scenes on set. She confessed to relying on therapy and the support of her loved ones during such times. “Previously, I used work as a distraction, but once the day ended, I felt hollow. Now, I prioritize talking through my emotions and seek therapy regularly, which I believe is crucial, especially for actors navigating various roles. My friends, sister, and even my cat play pivotal roles in grounding me and providing solace,” she shared.
Mrunal made her debut in Telugu cinema with the 2022 film “Sita Ramam” followed by “Hi Nanna” in 2023, both of which garnered significant acclaim. However, her latest release, “The Family Star,” received a more mixed reception. Undeterred, she is set to make her mark in Hindi cinema with the upcoming film “Pooja Meri Jaan” and an exciting project under the banner of Sanjay Leela Bhansali Productions.
