Mrunal Thakur, who made her Telugu debut with “Sita Ramam,” is set to star alongside Vijay Deverakonda in their upcoming Telugu film, tentatively titled VD13. The film is being directed by Parasuram and is currently in the dubbing stage.
On Wednesday, Mrunal took to her Instagram handle to share a series of pictures from the film’s inaugural ceremony. In the caption, she expressed her excitement about working with Srivenkteswara Creations for the first time and her eagerness to share the screen with Vijay Deverakonda. She also mentioned that she can’t wait for the shoot to begin.
The comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages for Mrunal on landing such a significant project. One person wrote, “Congratulations! This is huge,” while another added, “Wow! This is a big achievement, Mrunal. Congratulations!”
Vijay Deverakonda also posted a short clip, offering a glimpse of the film’s launch. He captioned it as “Pooja :)” and mentioned the names of Parasuram, Dil Raju, Mrunal Thakur, and himself, accompanied by a heart emoji. This film marks the reunion of Vijay and director Parasuram after the blockbuster hit “Geetha Govindam.”
VD13 will be Mrunal’s third Telugu project, following her second collaboration with Nani in “Nani 30.” She recently wrapped up shooting for that film. Mrunal’s debut Telugu film, “Sita Ramam,” directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, featured her in the titular role and co-starred Dulquer Salmaan.
