Having recently been in the news for making a short film with his wife Rasika Duggal in the lockdown, Mukul Chadda is all set to play the character of Babu Srivastava in ALTBalaji and ZEE5 Club’s upcoming web series Bicchoo Ka Khel.
Mukul, a stellar actor who recently delivered a commendable performance as Jagdeep Chadda in “The Office”, will be seen portraying the role of Akhil’s (Divyenndu Sharma) father. His character Babu Srivastava is a big-hearted jolly man and one who makes lemonade when life throws lemons at him. He is like a man born in the wrong generation because even at the age of 49, he is very young at heart just like Akhil. That’s the reason both Akhil and Babu gel very nicely like BFF’s rather than father and son.
Speaking about the series, Mukul shares, “I am very excited about this series as this is my first crime thriller. I’m also portraying a very different and interesting character – that of Akhil’s father, who thinks and acts younger than his son! I’m hoping this character resonates well with the audience.”
Bicchoo Ka Khel is a crime thriller that revolves around the story of Akhil, a budding writer who loses his father to a cover-up and how he manipulates the law. There is a lot more to Akhil’s story, which is no less than a roller-coaster ride.
