Actor Prabhas recently unveiled his latest project, the romantic-horror film “The Raja Saab,” in celebration of the Pongal and Sankranti festivals. Making the announcement on Instagram on Monday, Prabhas also treated his followers to the first look poster, featuring himself in the film.
In the showcased poster, Prabhas is seen wearing a black shirt and vibrant dhoti, strolling with a smile on an empty street while fireworks illuminate the background. Prabhas will be portraying the character of The Raja Saab in the film.
The actor shared the poster on Instagram with the caption, “Presenting #TheRajaSaab’s First Look in this festive season. Wishing you all joy and happiness!”
The announcement garnered an enthusiastic response from netizens, with many expressing their admiration for the “classic vibes” emanating from the poster.
Produced by T.G. Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibotla, “The Raja Saab” was initially titled “Raja Deluxe.” Renowned cinematographer Karthik Palani, known for his work on “Varisu,” will be handling the cinematography for the film. The music for this upcoming film will be composed by Thaman S. Featuring Malavika Mohanan, Niddhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar in prominent roles, “Raja Saab” is reportedly set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. However, the film’s official release date is yet to be announced.
On the professional front, Prabhas is gearing up for his role in Nag Ashwin Reddy’s mythological epic “Kalki 2898 AD,” scheduled to hit theaters on May 9.
