Recently, Salman Khan responded to Jawan Prevue, expressing his admiration for the trailer and giving a big shoutout to his longtime co-star Shah Rukh Khan. Salman took to his Instagram handle to share the Jawan Prevue and in the caption, he wrote, “Pathan jawan ban gaya, outstanding trailer, absolutely loved it. Now this is the kind of movie we should only watch in theaters. I am definitely going to see it on the first day. It was amazing!”
Shah Rukh Khan also took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday to respond to his cast and crew, sharing his next Jawan Prevue. Salman and Shah Rukh have had a bittersweet relationship since 1990 but have managed to collaborate on several projects. They previously worked together in Rakesh Roshan’s 1995 film “Karan Arjun,” where they played the titular roles.
Their recent collaboration was in Siddharth Anand’s “Pathaan,” where Salman portrayed the character “Tiger” to assist Shah Rukh Khan’s character, Pathaan, in an exciting train sequence. This collaboration is part of the YRF Spy Universe, an ambitious project by Yash Raj Films. The two superstars will reportedly be seen in “Pathaan vs. Tiger,” which is expected to be one of the most expensive films made in India so far.
“Jawan” is directed by Atlee and is an action-based film featuring Shah Rukh Khan in a dual role. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, and Riddhi Dogra. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, “Jawan” is scheduled to release in theaters on September 7th.
