Sonakshi Sinha is a multifaceted artist and has proved her extraordinary sense of art on different occasions. Amidst the lockdown, when everyone was trying hands-on new things, Sonakshi chose to dwell back in her world of art and culture.
She has earlier shared many glimpses of sketches and paintings with her extended social media family. Taking her passion to the next level, the actress along with her brothers Luv and Kush launched an art venture called the ‘House of Creativity.’
The sole purpose of this project that born out of an admiration for creative excellence, is to bridge the gap between artists & buyers. Interestingly, Sonakshi Sinha is among the other artists working on the platform.
Last month, Sonakshi Sinha revealed her love for artwork and shared an expressionist work that captures flowing lines defining lord Ganesha.
Titled as ‘Anaaye’, it is the first in the series that promotes the magnanimity and serenity of Lord Ganesha. Acrylic colors are beautifully spread on the canvas with flowing lines defining the greatness of the lord. This artwork is among the first to get sold out in the House of Creativity.
Sharing about the same, Sonakshi Sinha said, “Art has always been a huge part of me that’s why this feels even more special. I am an actor, I’ve made my name in this field of art, which is cinema but this is a whole different ballgame and it really feels like I’m making my debut again. I’ve always been quite low-key about my art until very recently. House of Creativity has given me the right encouragement and motivation to share my art with the world and I am loving every bit of it.”
Back in July, marking the anniversary of father Shatrughan Sinha and mother Poonam Sinha, Sonakshi Sinha along with twin brothers Luv & Kush brought a platform for art named as ‘House of Creativity.”
Sharing the same on her Instagram space she wrote, “On the occasion of our parents anniversary we bring to you an art platform like no other @houseofcreativityofficial.”

Undoubtedly, Sonakshi Sinha is a self-taught artist. She shares an old relationship with art and culture, even before she entered the Bollywood industry. The actress drew her inspiration from everything she sees around including patterns, colors, and combinations in the ordinary. On the work front, she is currently looking forward to the release of Bhuj The Pride Of India that also stars Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt along with her. Apart from this, she has Kakuda and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Heera Mandi next in her pipeline.
