Basking in the success of Siddharth Anand’s “Fighter,” featuring Hrithik Roshan, Anil Kapoor, and Deepika Padukone, Akshay Oberoi is now set to bring his talent to the upcoming film “Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari,” alongside Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor.
Scheduled for a theatrical release on April 18, 2025, the romantic comedy, featuring Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf alongside Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Akshay Oberoi, promises to charm audiences with its delightful storyline.

Under the production banner of Karan Johar, Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari is both written and directed by Shashank Khaitan, marking their third collaboration with Varun Dhawan after Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017). For Janhvi Kapoor, this romcom signifies her second project with the director post her debut film Dhadak in 2018. Notably, it’s also the second time Varun and Janhvi are sharing the screen, the first being in their 2023 film Bawaal.
In addition to his role in “Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari,” Akshay Oberoi is also preparing to delve into the world of espionage in the upcoming spy thriller “Two Zero One Four,” where he shares the screen with veteran actor Jackie Shroff.
