Social media influencer Kusha Kapila recently took to her Instagram account to share the news of her separation from her husband, Zorawar Ahluwalia. In her announcement, she expressed that the decision was made mutually and emphasized their commitment to co-parenting their pet dog, Maya.
Kusha wrote, “Zorawar and I have mutually decided to part ways. Although this decision has been incredibly difficult, we believe it is the right choice for us at this point in our lives. The love and life we have shared together will always hold immense value, but unfortunately, our current desires and aspirations no longer align. We dedicated ourselves to this relationship wholeheartedly, but circumstances have led us to this point.”
“Ending a relationship is heartbreaking, and both of our families have been deeply affected. Fortunately, we have had some time to come to terms with this decision, but the bond we built and nurtured over the past decade is significant. We still need time and healing to move forward into the next chapter of our lives. Our primary focus is to navigate this period with love, respect, and support for each other. We will continue to co-parent Maya, who is the love of our lives, and remain each other’s biggest supporters and sources of strength,” she concluded.
Zorawar also took to his Instagram account to share a similar statement. Kusha and Zorawar got married in 2017 after dating for a while.
On the professional front, Kusha was last seen in the projects “Minus One: New Chapter” and “Selfiee.” She made her acting debut on the TV show “Son of Abish,” hosted by Abish Mathew. She has also appeared in “Ghost Stories,” “Behensplaining,” “LOL: Hasse Toh Phasse,” and “Masaba Masaba Season 2.” Additionally, she hosted Season 3 of “Comicstaan” and served as a jury member on Season 7 of “Koffee with Karan.”
