ZEE5 unveiled the trailer of its latest original film ‘LOST’. Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury and produced by Zee Studios, Namah Pictures, Sam Fernandes, Indrani Mukherjee, the film features an ensemble star cast of Yami Gautam Dhar, Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Tushar Pandey and Pia Bajpiee in pivotal roles. The film had earlier received stirring acclaim at Chicago South Asian Film Festival 2022, Atlanta Indian Film Festival 2022 and 53rd International Film Festival of India.
The trailer showcases Yami Gautam as a brave crime reporter who is persistently searching for the truth behind the sudden disappearance of a young theatre activist. The film is a quest for answers on what’s right versus what’s the ultimate truth.
Director Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury said, “True life events inspire me to tell different stories and LOST was conceptualized the same way. The movie will make you question, introspect, and tug at your heartstrings. I am extremely happy with the performances of all my actors Pankaj Kapoor ji, Pia Bajpayee, Rahul Khanna, Tushar Pandey and of course Yami Gautam. Yami has portrayed the character of an investigative journalist with a lot of modesty. In fact, portrayal of all characters in the film have been extremely authentic and credible. I am very glad that Zee Studios, Namah Pictures, Sam Fernandes, Indrani Mukherjee and ZEE5 have come together to showcase the journey of a crime report with the hope that audience will realise that everything heard or seen is not always the truth. We can’t wait to see audiences’ reaction to the film.”

Pankaj Kapur added, “LOST is story about the struggles and repercussions the crime reporters have to go through. Portraying the role of a crime reporter’s grandfather was invigorating as it took me closer to the challenges, they face day in day out. But the beauty of the character is the warmth and the bond he shares with his granddaughter (Yami) and becomes her source of continuous strength and resilience. I am delighted that the movie is releasing on ZEE5 and will reach a wider audience.”
