Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan continues his tradition of greeting his fans outside his Mumbai residence. Every Sunday, he emerges from his house and interacts with the gathered fans.
Recently, he shared some pictures on his blog discussing the evolution of his outfits over time. In the photographs, Amitabh can be seen wearing a red and blue jacket paired with a white kurta. He is seen waving at the fans and greeting them with folded hands.
In a lengthy note on his blog, Amitabh Bachchan responded to some sarcastic comments about his choice to wear socks without shoes. He confidently defended his decision, stating, “I do [wear socks and go barefoot]! Do you have a problem with that? You go to the temple barefoot, and my well-wishers are my temple!”
The actor also emphasized the importance of comfort wear, particularly during these times of neglect and disregard for traditions. He noted that formal shoes, like black patent leather, have been replaced by the comfort of sneakers and other similar footwear.
The actor celebrated the preference for comfort and simplicity in today’s world, where jeans and sneakers have become the global choice for both men and women, even in work environments. He concluded by stating that what truly matters is covering one’s modesty with pride.
Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in the film “Uunchai” alongside Anupam Kher, Parineeti Chopra, and Boman Irani. He has upcoming projects like “Project K” with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, as well as Ribhu Dasgupta’s next film “Section 84” in the pipeline.
