An Action Hero (Netflix)
Featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Jaideep Ahlawat in the lead, An Action Hero tells the story of a celebrity, Maanav who accidentally becomes engaged in the murder of a man. From then on, he has to fight for his own safety and wellbeing as he tries to prove his innocence. With elaborate action sequences and over the top drama, the movie at it core tells the story of hero worshipping in our country and its repercussions.

The film’s leading character is Siddhu, a software programmer who unearths a journal written by a young woman, Nandini. As he continues to read the book, he starts feeling affectionate towards Nandini and decides to find her. Directed by Palnati Surya Pratap, the romantic comedy stars Nikhil Siddhartha, Anupama Parameswaran and Posani Krishna Murali in pivotal roles.
Saturday Night (Disney+ Hotstar)
Saturday Night tells the story of four friends who come together for a reunion after many years. What ensues is them discovering the true meaning of friendship. Directed by Rosshan Andrews and stars Nivin Pauly, Aju Varghese, Siju Wilson, and Saiju Kurup. The light hearted film is a celebration of friendship that one can catch-up with friends on well… a Saturday Night.
Raangi (Netflix)
Raangi is an action thriller film centred around a journalist who gets caught in an international conspiracy. The Tamil thriller stars the celebrated Trisha Krishnan in the leading role. The film is written by AR Murugadoss and directed by M Saravanan, and also stars Anaswara Rajan in a pivotal role.
Dhamaka
Telugu film ‘Dhamaka’ directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina starring Ravi Teja and Sreeleela is an action comedy that hit the theatres in December last year. All set for its OTT release, Dhamaka is the story of two strangers who look alike and chase the love of the same woman. The film stars Ravi Teja in a dual role of Swamy Vivekananda Rao and Anand Chakravarthy.
