Actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead at his Mumbai residence in 2020, was remembered by his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty on his three-year death anniversary. Taking to her Instagram handle, Rhea shared a throwback video accompanied by Pink Floyd’s “Wish You Were Here.”
In the video, the couple is seen sitting on a rock as Rhea embraces Sushant, who is seen smiling. The video appears to have been taken during their vacation in Ladakh. Both of them are dressed casually, with Sushant wearing a gray graphic T-shirt, black pants, and black sneakers, while Rhea is wearing black pants, a T-shirt, and white sneakers.
Rhea added a caption to the post consisting of two emojis: a heart and an infinity symbol. The post quickly gained attention, with one fan commenting, “You’ve been strong. He is with you always.” Another person wrote, “He is always with you.”
Someone expressed sympathy, saying, “You went through so much. All you deserved was love. Sorry for the cruel world out there. If only they knew what love is!”
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, also paid tribute to her late brother. She shared a photo of Sushant with his nephew and niece, along with screenshots of some of the books he had recommended. Shweta wrote, “Love you bhai (brother), and salute to your intelligence. I miss you every moment. But I know you are a part of me now… You have become as integral as my breath. Sharing a few books recommended by him…”
Additionally, Shweta posted a video of herself speaking about her late brother. She emphasized that in order to keep Sushant’s memory alive, it is important to embody his qualities and the goodness of his heart. She assured everyone that he has not left anywhere and is alive within them.
Sushant Singh Rajput passed away at his Mumbai home on June 14, 2020. His final film was “Dil Bechara” (2020).
