Taapsee Pannu is taking a leap into the world of comedy with two films in 2023, a departure from her usual dramatic roles. Known for her sharp wit, the actress talks about her new foray into this genre with “Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan” and “Dunki.”
She was lately quoted saying to a publication, “ With Woh Ladki Hai Kahaan, I’m doing an out- and- out comedy. This is the first time I’m trying commodity of that kind where the joke won’t be on me. I’ll be cracking the jokes. Having said that, both the corridoris veritably gruelling. Getting the joke cracked on you isn’t an easy task because you have to keep a straight face and bear like you did n’t get what just happed, which is delicate. additionally, when you know what’s passing that’s a different kind of a challenge, too. Comedy is veritably delicate because the timing of your discourses and responses is so critical. Comedy is a whole new experience. generally, in comedy flicks, actresses are cast to add charm to the story, but this film takes conscientiousness of that. My character gets to do comedy with Pratik Gandhi’s character. In Dunki, too, I enjoyed doing a lot of comedy.”
