Kamal Haasan has revealed the title of his upcoming action film on the occasion of his birthday. The film, titled “Thug Life,” will mark the reunion of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after 36 years, since their collaboration on the 1987 crime film “Nayakan.”
The actor took to his social media platform and shared a video where he stands in the midst of a desolate, smog-covered landscape. Draped in a cloak, he dramatically unveils a striking appearance featuring a dense moustache and beard. Facing a group of armed men in the distance, he sheds his cloak and assumes a martial arts stance.

On the professional front, in addition to “Thug Life,” Kamal will also be seen in “Indian 2,” the sequel to Shankar’s 1996 blockbuster vigilante action film, set to hit cinemas on April 12, 2024. Furthermore, he is set to star in Nag Ashwin’s epic science fiction film “Kalki 2898 AD,” slated for release in cinemas on January 12, 2024.
