Varun Dhawan Pledges To Provide Free Meals To The Frontline Workers, Doctors And Medical Staff

After donating Rs. 55 Lakhs to PM- Cares Fund and Maharashtra Chief Minister Relief Fund Varun Dhawan now has pledged to provide meals to the needy and health workers who fights against the coronavirus pandemic for 24 hours. The actor made this statement with a post on his Instagram handle on Tuesday.

He wrote, “With each passing day of being locked down at home, my heart goes out to all those who have no home in this time of crisis. And so this week Eve committed to providing meals for the poor who are without homes or jobs. I also have deep admiration for all those who are risking their lives by working on the frontlines.”

He also added, “I have committed to providing meals to doctors and medical staff at hospitals. All meals are provided through the Taj Public Service Welfare Trust. It’s a small step. But during a crisis like this, we have to make every step count. I will continue to do what best I can”.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh to Rapper-Singer Badshah, Singer Guru Randhawa, Manish Paul,, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshon all decided to pledge to help daily wage workers of the film and television industry, needy people and health workers.
