The story follows an adventurous journey of four friends who rediscover themselves and their relationship with each other on a road trip to Spain. Bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under an Excel Entertainment banner, the movie collected a whopping amount of 153 crores at the box office. The film was majorly shot in Spain and featured locations like golden sandbanks, elegant shopping streets, and breathtaking mountain roads.
The film also had a contribution of soulful tracks including Khaabon Ke Parinday, Ik Junoon, Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein, and Senorita. The music and background score are composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy with lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
According to some buzz around, ZNMD 2.0 is under process and this time the storyline might include an all-female cast with Alia Bhatt taking the lead. Whereas Farhan Akhtar will be donning the director’s cap. While the makers are going to keep the concept the same, the narrative might differ from the 2011 release ZNMD.
