On Saturday, the producers disclosed that “Sanki,” an upcoming romantic drama produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is scheduled to hit theatres on Valentine’s Day next year. The film stars Ahan Shetty, son of Suniel Shetty, alongside Pooja Hegde.
“Get ready for a cinematic takeover this Valentine’s Day with ‘Sanki’! #SajidNadiadwala’s much-anticipated romantic drama starring @ahan.shetty & @hegdepooja hits theatres on February 14, 2025. Directed by @adnanshaikh786 & @yasirjah, and penned by @rajat__aroraa,” announced Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment on their official Instagram page.
Athiya Shetty expressed her excitement on her Instagram story, accompanied by a fire-heart emoji, signalling her anticipation for the release of “Sanki.”
Debutante directors Adnan A. Shaikh and Yasir Jah helm “Sanki,” while the script is crafted by Rajat Aroraa. The film is backed by renowned producer Nadiadwala, celebrated for his support of hits like “Baaghi,” “Heropanti,” and “Kick.”
Ahan made his acting debut with the 2021 action romance “Tadap,” co-starring Tara Sutaria. In an exciting reunion, he joins forces once again with Nadiadwala, who also produced “Tadap.” Meanwhile, Pooja, renowned for her roles in films like “Housefull 4” and “Mohenjo Daro,” was last seen in the 2023 action comedy “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” starring alongside Salman Khan. She’s also gearing up for the action thriller “Deva,” where she’ll share the screen with Shahid Kapoor.
