Sidharth Malhotra celebrated his 39th birthday on Tuesday, the first since tying the knot with Kiara Advani. The actor marked the occasion with a midnight festivity at their Mumbai home, where Kiara shared glimpses of the cake-cutting ceremony on social media.
On Instagram Stories, Kiara posted a video montage featuring the message ‘Happy birthday love.’ The montage included snapshots of Sidharth and Kiara sharing a hug and a kiss during the birthday festivities. Sidharth, adorned in a vibrant T-shirt, and Kiara, elegantly dressed in black, celebrated the moment.
The birthday cake was a highlight, showcasing a camera roll featuring frames from Sidharth’s iconic movies, spanning from the Karan Johar-directed “Student of the Year” to the 2021 war drama “Shershaah.” The cake itself was unique, with a miniature version of Sidharth in a tuxedo placed on a revolving platform. A film reel wrapped around it displayed posters from Sidharth’s various films, and a box of popcorn completed the overall look.
Vivek Oberoi, Sidharth’s co-star in “Indian Police Force,” extended his wishes on Instagram Stories, saying, “May you always continue to steal our hearts and set the stage on fire! Have a great year, brother. See you shortly on duty, DCP Kabir Malik.”
Other Bollywood actors, including Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan, also shared heartfelt birthday wishes. Kareena wrote, “Happy birthday, dearest Sid. Sending you a birthday hug.” Ajay added, “Iss chitra se ek not so gupt baat yaad aa gayi (this picture reminds me of another not-so-secretive matter)… Happy birthday @sidmalhotra,” alongside a still from Sidharth’s 2022 film “Thank God.”
Looking ahead, Sidharth is set to make his digital debut in the upcoming web series, “Indian Police Force,” directed by Rohit Shetty, slated to stream on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video. Additionally, he is part of Karan Johar’s production, “Yodha,” scheduled for a theatrical release on March 15.
