The first look of Vikas Bahl’s film “Shaitann,” featuring Ajay Devgn, Madhavan, and Jyothika, was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday. Scheduled for release on March 8, the lead cast shared the poster on their Instagram handles, and they also confirmed the release of the film’s teaser tomorrow.
The initial poster released by the makers showcased five voodoo dolls, sparking curiosity about the storyline. The accompanying captions, written by the cast at that time, suggested that the film would explore themes related to black magic. While the details of the plotline are being closely guarded by the makers, the lead cast has been offering subtle hints in their captions.
In the first-look image, Ajay and Jyotika exude intensity, while Madhavan sports a maniacal grin. Ajay, sharing the image, wrote, “#Shaitaan is coming to cast a spell on you.” Madhavan captioned the image with, “#Shaitaan nazar milata nahi – nazar lagata hai.” Jyotika, in her caption, stated, “#Shaitaan ka bura saaya kabhi bata kar nahin aata.
Jyothika is set to make her comeback to Hindi cinema with Shaitaan after a hiatus, and the film will also mark the debut of Janki Bodiwala. Presented by Jio Studios, Ajay Devgn Ffilms, and Panorama Studios International, Shaitaan is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak.
On the professional work front, Ajay’s latest appearance was in the 2023 film Bholaa, a remake of the Tamil movie Kaithi. Upcoming projects for him include Maidaan, Singham Again, Raid 2, and Auron Mei Kahan Dum Tha. Madhavan gained acclaim for the miniseries The Railway Men and is set to appear in Test, Amriki Pandit, The Untold Story of C Sankraran Nair, and an untitled Tamil film.
