Commemorating the sacred occasion of Maha Shivaratri, they disclosed the character name of the film’s protagonist, Prabhas, as ‘Bhairava’. Taking to their official social media accounts, the makers revealed a new poster of the Nag Ashwin directorial along with the character’s name.
Taking to social media, Team ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ unveiled a captivating glimpse of Prabhas as ‘Bhairava’ with the caption, “From the futuristic streets of Kasi, introducing BHAIRAVA from #Kalki2898AD.” The poster showcases Prabhas in a striking side profile, clad in an all-black attire with a dramatic cape, set against an industrial backdrop.

With a star-studded cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani in pivotal roles, the film is slated for release in India on May 9, 2024. Currently in production, the team recently embarked on a shoot in Italy, where Prabhas and Disha Patani filmed a mesmerizing song sequence.
