In a thrilling display of anticipation, the Yodha poster, featuring the charismatic Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role, took flight as skydivers gracefully unveiled it from a lofty altitude of 13,000 feet, as depicted in an exhilarating launch video shared by the esteemed production house, Dharma Productions, on Thursday.
“Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope…it’s our YODHA! Gliding through the skies, we’re poised and prepared for touchdown,” exclaimed the creators on Instagram, announcing that the teaser for the film will be released on February 19.
In the freshly unveiled poster, Sidharth Malhotra exudes his action-hero charisma in full force, adorned in a rugged ensemble while wielding an assault rifle with commanding presence.
In a mesmerizing display, drones weave through the air, releasing trails of saffron and green smoke that envelop the poster in the video, infusing the narrative with a deep sense of patriotic fervor.
According to the official synopsis, Sidharth embodies the role of an off-duty soldier in the forthcoming action-packed thriller. Trapped aboard a hijacked plane with terrorists at the helm, Sidharth’s character is thrust into a high-stakes battle of wits as he endeavours to outmanoeuvre the assailants and safeguard the lives of the innocent passengers.
“Yodha” marks the directorial debut of the dynamic duo, Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. Alongside the enigmatic Sidharth Malhotra, the action-packed thriller boasts stellar performances from leading ladies Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. Helmed by a powerhouse team of producers including Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shashank Khaitan, this film promises to set new standards in the genre.
On the professional front, Sidharth graced Rohit Shetty’s digital premiere in “Indian Police Force”, while Raashii captivated audiences with her role in “Farzi”, sharing the screen with Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi. Disha, however, is embarking on new frontiers with her Tamil debut in Siva’s “Kanguva”. Additionally, she’s deeply involved in the much-anticipated Prabhas-led “Kalki 2898 AD”.
