Newlyweds Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have delighted fans with intimate glimpses from their post-wedding getaway. The couple, who tied the knot on June 23, have been sharing cozy moments that radiate happiness and love.
In one of the shared photos, Sonakshi is seen savoring a glass of juice while lounging in a pool with Zaheer. The serene setting, complete with fluffy clouds and the soft glow of the setting sun, creates a picturesque backdrop. Zaheer is seen shirtless, showcasing his relaxed vibe, while Sonakshi sports a chic black swimsuit, her hair elegantly pulled back in a neat bun. Another captivating shot captures their silhouettes against the twilight sky, evoking a sense of tranquility and romance. Adding to the charm, the couple also shared a mirror selfie where Sonakshi dazzles in a grey bodycon dress, paired with a matching shrug and metallic disc earrings. The couple’s love story began on the sets of the 2017 film “Notebook.” Their professional collaboration blossomed into a deep bond, leading to the music video of the song “Blockbuster,” released in September 2022. Their on-screen chemistry continued in the comedy-drama “Double XL” (2022). Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding was a private affair held at her sea-facing Bandra West apartment. The ceremony was attended by close family and friends, including Sonakshi’s parents Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha, and Zaheer’s father Iqbal Ratansi.
For the wedding, Sonakshi was a vision in an embroidered white sari, while Zaheer matched her elegance in a white kurta. The festivities continued with a reception at a fine-dining restaurant in Dadar, where Sonakshi donned a stunning red Banarasi saree, and Zaheer looked dapper in a white jacket and trousers. Sonakshi Sinha, who recently starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar”, is gearing up for her next venture. She will be seen in Aditya Sarpotdar’s upcoming horror comedy “Kakuda,” co-starring Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem, set to premiere on ZEE5 on July 12.
