Love is in the air with the return of romance in “Do Aur Do Pyaar.” Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi lead the narrative, delving into the complexities of marriage and infidelity. With a quirky teaser setting the tone, the trailer, directed by Shirsha Guha Thakurta, presents a satirical portrayal of marital discord and extramarital affairs. Joining the ensemble cast are Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy, promising a compelling exploration of relationships on screen.

Kicking off with a fiery confrontation in the kitchen, the trailer of “Do Aur Do Pyaar” sets the stage for tumultuous relationships. As tensions rise, glimpses reveal Vidya Balan and Pratik Gandhi entangled in extramarital affairs. Vidya’s character finds solace in Sendhil Ramamurthy’s company, while Pratik’s heart gravitates towards Ileana D’Cruz, adding layers of complexity to their marital turmoil.

In “Do Aur Do Pyaar,” viewers witness the relentless efforts of each couple striving to salvage their relationships amidst the urban backdrop. However, tensions escalate when Ileana D’Cruz’s pregnancy raises questions of paternity, fueling interpersonal conflicts and self-doubt. Through a lens of slice-of-life romantic comedy, the film delves into the intricate dynamics of modern relationships, portraying a vivid tapestry of confusion and frustration among partners. Scheduled for a theatrical release on April 19, “Do Aur Do Pyaar” is a collaborative effort co-produced by Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, Tanuj Garg, Atul Kasbekar, and Swati Iyer Chawla.

Following her appearance in “Neeyat” (2023), “Do Aur Do Pyaar” marks Vidya Balan’s return to the silver screen, serving as her debut release for 2024. Up next, she ventures into the horror-comedy genre with Kartik Aaryan and Tripti Dimri in “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” helmed by Anees Bazmee. On the other hand, Pratik Gandhi, after his role in “Madgaon Express,” gears up for “Phule,” portraying Mahatma Jyotirao Govindrao Phule in Anant Mahadevan’s directorial. Additionally, he embarks on a historical journey in the series “Gandhi,” directed by Hansal Mehta. Illeana D’Cruz makes her comeback to Bollywood after a five-year hiatus since “Paagalpanti” (2019), while Sendhil Ramamurthy delves into his second Bollywood project post “Shor in the City,” expanding his cinematic repertoire.
