Article 370 trailer : Yami Gautam Ventures on Covert Mission to Revoke Kashmir's Special Status

On Thursday, the trailer for “Article 370,” directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Aditya Suhas Jambhale and starring Yami Gautam in the lead role, was unveiled. The makers shared the announcement with the tagline “Poora ka Poora Kashmir, Bharat Desh ka hissa tha, hai aur rahega!” and the hashtag #Article370Trailer. The film is set to hit cinemas on February 23, promising an impactful cinematic experience for audiences.

In the 2-minute-40-second long trailer, Yami’s frustration grows as she describes Kashmir as a ‘lost case,’ hindered by the special status that complicates her role as an intelligence officer. The trailer depicts the escalating terrorism in the region, with extremists vying for control. Subsequently, Yami’s character joins the NIA and is entrusted with a mission in Kashmir, with the government pledging to revoke Article 370 at any cost. Despite the political turmoil, both Yami and the government exhibit unwavering resolve, as depicted in the trailer, underscored by Shashwat Sachdev’s stirring background score, heightening the tension to a palpable degree.

In a gripping scene, Yami’s character issues orders for the arrest of thousands challenging India’s authority. In retaliation, local politicians resort to drastic measures, plunging the region into chaos marked by bloodshed and gunfire. Amidst the chaos, Zooni courageously navigates the turmoil, risking her life to protect innocent civilians and preserve national unity.

In addition to Yami Gautam, the cast of “Article 370” features a stellar ensemble including Priyamani, Arun Govil, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Skand Thakur, Ashwini Koul, Kiran Karmarkar, Divya Seth Shah. The story is penned by Aditya Dhar and Monal Thaakar, while the screenplay and dialogues are crafted by Aditya Suhas Jambhale and Arjun Dhawan, with additional screenplay contributions by Aarsh Vora.

Recently, the creators unveiled the track “Dua” from the movie, featuring vocals by Jubin Nautiyal and music composed by Shashwat. This poignant song serves as a tribute to the unsung heroes who have selflessly served the nation. Kumaar’s heartfelt lyrics capture the essence of gratitude, while a chorus of singers adds depth to the composition.

Article 370 is scheduled for its theatrical release on February 23rd, promising an immersive cinematic experience.
