Get ready to indulge in a tantalizing whodunit experience with the release of the trailer for Murder Mubarak. Netflix unveiled the official trailer of Homi Adajania’s forthcoming crime thriller, on Tuesday, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the world of posh Delhi society.

Pankaj Tripathi takes on the role of a jovial cop tasked with unraveling the mystery behind a heinous crime amidst the elite echelons of the city. As the investigation unfolds, secrets and betrayals come to light, leading to a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase through the labyrinth of high society.

This gripping murder mystery weaves a complex web of secrets and deception, casting suspicion on every character in the story. Directed by the talented Homi Adajania, the film features an ensemble star cast including Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra, and Suhail Nayyar, promising an exhilarating ride for viewers into the heart of suspense and intrigue.

In the captivating trailer for Murder Mubarak, the scene is set at the prestigious Royal Delhi Club, where an array of high society guests convene. A compelling voiceover sheds light on the club’s colonial origins, emphasizing its past as a bastion of British privilege. Despite the departure of the British, remnants of their influence linger, with certain members clinging steadfastly to their English heritage, setting the stage for a tale rife with intrigue and deception.

When a shocking murder rocks the tranquil halls of the club, the authorities are promptly notified. ACP Bhavani Singh, portrayed by the versatile Pankaj Tripathi, steps into the fray to lead the investigation. With meticulous precision, he begins interrogating each member present on the fateful night, unearthing a labyrinth of hidden truths and deceit. As the tension mounts and suspicions escalate, Bhavani Singh realizes that the murderer lurks within this tight-knit circle of elites. Yet, with each revelation, the path to uncovering the truth becomes increasingly perilous.

In the film, Sara’s character, Bambi, serves as Vijay’s romantic interest, while Karishma portrays an actress caught in a splash of red on a film set. As Inspector Singh delves into the interrogation of these characters, he is unsettled by their detachment from reality. Amidst the seemingly mundane events, he tirelessly searches for an extraordinary clue that could unravel the mystery at hand.

As the video concludes, we hear Singh’s voiceover declaring, “The truth is that most killers are not savages; they are ordinary men like you and me.” The scene fades into a close-up shot of Karisma, portraying a character with blood streaming down her face while filming a scene, adding a chilling layer to the unfolding mystery.

Set to release on Netflix on March 15, Murder Mubarak is produced by Maddock Films. This movie heralds Karisma’s comeback to the big screen since her last film, “Dangerous Ishhq,” in 2012, following her successful debut in the digital space with the 2020 web series “Mentalhood.”
